Rome & Maranello, Italy — May 2026 Insight Global is proud to announce that Shannon Smadella, MBA, CEO and Principal, has been named a Founding Member of the Impact Leaders Alliance (ILA) — an exclusive, invite-only international network of senior leaders committed to purposeful leadership, sustainability, and global impact — and recently participated in the Alliance's inaugural retreat held in Maranello, Italy.
The retreat, held May 10–11, 2026, in association with the European Institute for Innovation and Sustainability (EIIS), followed the European Innovation for Sustainability Summit in Rome (May 8–9) and brought together more than twenty senior leaders from across sectors and continents for an immersive two-day program at Ferrari Headquarters. The program included an exclusive private factory tour and a closed-door masterclass with members of Ferrari's senior leadership team.
The group also visited Acetaia Malpighi in Maranello, one of Italy's most celebrated producers of traditional balsamic vinegar, whose 25-year production process — governed by a rigorous consortium of standards before a single bottle is certified — offered a powerful framework for thinking about legacy, quality, and long-term impact. As a Founding Member, Smadella plays an active role in shaping the ILA's culture, strategic direction, and global expansion — bringing the insights and relationships developed through the Alliance directly to the work of Insight Global and its clients.
